Tea Tree
Sharp and medicinal, prized for a clean, almost clinical freshness.
What Tea Tree actually smells like
Tea Tree is steam-distilled from the leaf of Melaleuca alternifolia, an Australian native tree whose oil has built a reputation on its sharp, medicinal, almost clinical freshness — a very different "tea" note from the soft, leafy Camellia sinensis oils elsewhere in this family.
That clinical sharpness is precisely why it's a bathroom staple, delivering the kind of clean scent that reads as genuinely hygienic rather than merely fragrant.

A note on safety
For external aromatherapy use only — never taken internally. Use with care during pregnancy, ideally in a diffuser rather than on skin, and avoid entirely during the first trimester unless a qualified practitioner advises otherwise. Suitable for diffuser and inhalation use for adults and children 12 and over; for younger children, consult a healthcare professional first. Use with caution around pets, and never apply topically to an animal. Store below 30°C, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children and pets.
