Lemon
The cleanest, most recognisable citrus, sharp and unmistakably fresh.
What Lemon actually smells like
Lemon is cold-pressed from the peel of Citrus limon, and it's the reference point every other citrus in this collection gets compared to — the cleanest, most instantly recognisable of the family, sharp and unmistakably fresh.
That universal familiarity makes it the obvious pick for everyday diffusing, a default that never needs justifying.

A note on safety
For external aromatherapy use only — never taken internally. Use with care during pregnancy, ideally in a diffuser rather than on skin, and avoid entirely during the first trimester unless a qualified practitioner advises otherwise. Suitable for diffuser and inhalation use for adults and children 12 and over; for younger children, consult a healthcare professional first. Use with caution around pets, and never apply topically to an animal. Store below 30°C, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children and pets.
