Cypress
Crisp and slightly resinous, closer to a forest floor than a furniture shop.
What Cypress actually smells like
Cypress is steam-distilled from the needle and twig of Cupressus sempervirens, and its crisp, slightly resinous profile reads more like a forest floor than a finished piece of wood furniture — a rawer, greener take on a woody note.
That crisp clarity suits studies and focus work, where it holds attention without ever tipping into the heaviness of a deeper base note.

A note on safety
For external aromatherapy use only — never taken internally. Use with care during pregnancy, ideally in a diffuser rather than on skin, and avoid entirely during the first trimester unless a qualified practitioner advises otherwise. Suitable for diffuser and inhalation use for adults and children 12 and over; for younger children, consult a healthcare professional first. Use with caution around pets, and never apply topically to an animal. Store below 30°C, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children and pets.
